Hiking the Pacific Coast | Travel Diary

It's been a long time since I've laced up my old hiking boots. Over the long semester, I looked at them with zeal. There was no time to leave my classes and drive over the starry Golden Gate bridge.

But, thank goodness for break. Over the past few weeks I've had epic adventures up and down cliffs, mountains, coves. Here's to pursuing that adventure in 2017. Enjoy the epic-ness of the beautiful Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco.
Overlooking Point Bonita Lighthouse (they have Full Moon hikes!!)
2017 for me is about shedding all the unnecessary: material things, empty relationships, repetitive actions. It's time for fresh, the new, and the meaningful.
I have jitter feet. I need to move and to feel the dirt under me. So, 2017 is going to be all about going after that fervor.

It's all about doing what makes you feel alive. And it sure as hell took me long enough to figure that out.

Whether that's grabbing your buddies and going for a long drive, discovering a new diner jive, hitting up the waves with a wetsuit, pounding the gravel on your skateboard, hiking to the top of a mountain for the most epic view, it's all worth it.

Personally, all I need is a cup of joe and miles of trail and I'm set.

Cheers y'all. Make this one count.
